2016 Introduction to Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe) Open to Community Members

Are you a member of the Indigenous community in Ottawa wanting to learn or practice your language?

Introduction to Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe) is open for registration.

Late Summer Course: July 4, 2016 to August 16, 2016

Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Time: 17:35 – 21:25

Late summer 2016 will mark the sixth year the School of Linguistics and Language Studies and the Centre for Indigenous Initiatives partner to offer “Introduction to Anishinaabemowin” using a community classroom model. As a language revitalization initiative, members of the Indigenous community in Ottawa are invited to register to study Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe) alongside Carleton University students for no credit and at no cost.

Carleton University students must register through the regular channels on Carleton Central.

To apply as a Community Member Student, download and complete the sponsorship application and submit it to the Centre for Indigenous Initiatives using one of the following methods:
